NESTOGEN TCI | Carrier Type Levelling Agent

  • Product Information

    NESTOGEN TCI is a carrier levelling agent for polyester fibers and fabric dyeing at atmospheric pressure in open vessels.

  • Application

    Dyeing at Atmospheric Pressure:

    • Dyeing of polyester and its blends in open vessels.
    • Apply NESTOGEN TCI at a rate of 3%-5% (on weight of fabric basis), depending on the depth of the shade and liquor ratio when dyeing at a boil.

    Dyeing at 130°C:

    • Dyeing at 130°C, apply 0.25% to 0.5% NESTOGEN-TCI (on weight of goods) in jet/package dyeing machines is advantageous.

    Partial Stripping:

    • For partial stripping, use 8-10 gpl NESTOGEN-TCI, depending on the degree of stripping required.

  • Advantage

    Benefits of Using NESTOGEN-TCI:

    1. Results in improved barre’ coverage and more level dyeings due to enhanced migration properties of dyes.
    2. Improves the fastness of dyeings.
    3. Provides a higher depth of dyeings.

     

     

  • Properties

    APPEARANCE: Light yellow / hazy brown liquid.

    CONSTITUTION: Self-emulsifiable chlorinated benzene.

    IONIC NATURE: Anionic.

    MISCIBILITY: Good in water.

    COMPATIBILITY: Compatible with anionic and nonionic products. Stable to hard water, dilute acids, and bases.
