  Nestogen LDRL is an excellent levelling agent designed for the application of disperse  dyes to polyester fibers and fabrics, especially in short cycle dyeing.

• Application

  [I]. Nestogen LDRL used as Leveling Agent in Polyester Dyeing:

  Nestogen LDRL is suitable for use on all types of high temp. dyeing machinery. After scouring the goods, the dye bath is set with fresh water, and the temperature raised to 60°C.

  • Nestogen LDRL: 0.5 to 1.0 gpl
  • Proton AH – 6: 1.0 to 1.25 gpl
  • Disperse Dyes: X% (O.W.F.) Possesses buffering, sequestering & dispersing action

  Add Nestogen LDRL to the bath together with other required chemicals and circulate. Adjust the pH to 4.5 to 5.5. Add pre-dispersed dyestuffs, preferably through a sieve or filter.

  Raise the temperature from 60°C to the maximum dyeing temperature (130 - 135°C) at the desired temperature gradient. Rapid rates of rise of 2-4°C per minute are possible. Run for 30 – 60 minutes. Cool to a temperature at which the liquor can be safely drained without causing creasing, then rinse or perform reduction clearing if necessary.

  [II]. Nestogen LDRL used for Re-leveling of Faulty Polyester Dyeing:

  Nestogen LDRL can be used to correct uneven dyeing or reduce the depth of dyeing if dyed too heavily. Treat for 45-60 minutes with:

  • Nestogen LDRL: 2 to 5 gpl At the maximum dyeing temperature, this treatment will hold the excess dye in the bath. If shade correction is necessary, it should be carried out after first replacing most of the bath. Re-leveling treatments should be followed by thorough rinsing and reduction clearing to ensure maximum fastness.
