NESTOGEN - DAN | Dispersing Agent

  • Product Information

NESTOGEN - DAN is a high performance dispersing agent especially suitable for dispersion stability during dyeing of polyester in HTHP machines.

  • Key Features & Benefits

    • Prevents agglomeration of dyestuff during the heating and cooling stages, ensuring level dyeing.
    • Ensures optimum brightness and colour clarity even in pale shades and in presence of optical whiteners
    • Has excellent dispersing action on polyester oligomers and hence can be used as a cleaning agent for oligomer deposits.
    • Suitable for one bath dyeing of polyester / cellulosic blends due to improved dispersion stability in presence of electrolytes.
    • Stable under acid and alkaline conditions
    • High efficacy makes it effective at low concentrations.
  • Application

    Dyeing of 100% polyester yarn

    • Nestogen DAN: 0.5 – 1.0 gms/lit
    • Higher dosage is recommended for lighter depths

    Dyeing of polyester/cotton blended yarn

    • Nestogen DAN: 0.5 – 1.5 gms/lit
    • Higher dosage is recommended for lighter depths

    Dyeing of 100% polyester fabric

    • Nestogen DAN: 0.25 – 0.5 gms/lit

    Dyeing of polyester/cotton blended fabric

    • Nestogen DAN: 0.5 – 1.0 gms/lit

Dyeing of 100% polyester fabric –padding method

    • Nestogen DAN: 0.5 – 1.0 gms/lit

    Reduction clearing bath

    • Nestogen DAN: 0.5 – 1.0 gms/lit
  • Properties

    • Appearance: Brown liquid
    • Ionic character: Anionic
    • Miscibility: Miscible in cold water
    • Stability: Nestogen DAN is acid, alkali, hardness, and electrolyte-resistant even under high-temperature dyeing conditions.
    • Compatibility: As an anionic product, it is quite compatible with all anionic and non-ionic auxiliaries.
    • Effect: Nestogen DAN stabilizes dye dispersions and thus contributes to increasing the degree of fastness and the levelness of the dyeing; it has no wetting or cleaning effect. In acid baths, the product has an affinity to animal fibers such as wool and silk, and also to polyamide fibers.
