  NESTOGEN - ARC is a specially developed post-clearing agent for disperse dyeings on polyester and its blends.

• Application

  NESTOGEN - ARC has an excellent reductive action on unfixed disperse dyes from polyester and its blends. It effectively removes loosely attached dyestuffs on fibers, as well as residual non-exhausted dyes in the cooling stage in the acidic dye baths. When the reductive clearing agent has completely reacted, the pH of the liquor becomes practically neutral.

  Application Method:

  Light to Medium Shades:

  • Use 0.5 – 1 gpl NESTOGEN - ARC
  • Add 0.75-1 gpl NEWTRACID or Acetic Acid (pH between 4 - 5)
  • Operate at 80°C for 15-20 minutes.
  • Rinse with hot and cold water.

  Dark Shades:

  • Use 0.7-1.5 gpl NESTOGEN - ARC
  • Add 0.75-1 gpl NEWTRACID or Acetic Acid (pH between 4 - 5)
  • Operate at 80°C for 15-20 minutes.
  • Rinse with hot and cold water.

  NESTOGEN - ARC can be applied in all the usual dyeing machines. It is stable to air and forms no foam, making it effective for use in jet dyeing machines. There is no need to add alkali in the dye bath, as per the conventional R/C process.

  • NESTOGEN - ARC completely eliminates the need for corrosive processes involving caustic and hydrosulphite for reduction clearing.

  Effective in Acidic pH:

  • It is effective in acidic pH, allowing it to be used in the same bath or in a fresh bath without the need for alkali.

  No Need for Neutralization:

  • Due to the acidic pH of the bath, there is no need to neutralize the residual alkali on the treated goods.

  Saves Resources:

  • NESTOGEN - ARC is very effective in saving process time, energy, water, and chemicals. It leads to much cleaner wastewater, reducing the effluent load considerably.

  Stable and Easy to Rinse:

  • The product is stable to air and easy to rinse.

  Preserves Fastness:

  • It does not affect the fastness properties of dyed materials.

• Properties

  • PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: Clear colorless to slightly yellowish liquid.
  • CHEMICAL NATURE: Organic reducing agents.
  • IONIC NATURE: Anionic.
  • pH: 10 – 11.
  • SOLUBILITY: Completely miscible with water.
  • COMPATIBILITY: Compatible with anionics and non-ionics.
  • STABILITY: Stable to hard water and alkalies. Should be mixed with acids in the dyeing apparatus rather than in the dissolving tank.
  • STORAGE STABILITY: When stored in sealed containers and below 35°C, it has stability up to one year. Partly used containers should be kept tightly closed and used as early as possible.
  • ECOLOGY: It is readily bio-degradable and bio-eliminable.
