Eco - RC | Stabilized Reductive Cleaning Agent in Powder Foam

  • Product Information

Eco - RC is a derivative of stabilized reductive hydrocarbon for reduction cleaning. It lied low odour and high reduction power.

  • Key Features & Benefits

Eco - RC is stabilized reductive material with low odor. It is recommended for reductive cleaning of disperse dyed and printed fabrics and stripping of faulty reactive dyes and also cleaning of dyeing machines. Since hydrosulphite decomposes rapidly at high pH and temperature (eg. At 95 Deg.C, 60 percent of hydro is decomposed), above 70 Deg.C application temperature, reduction cleaning effect is not consistent and changes between each batch.

Eco - RC does not liberate SO2, there will be no fading effect on printed or dyed wet fabrics stationed in dye house. Eco - RC becomes active at high temperatures and in alkaline medium. For this reason, the cold storage bath for continuous process is safely used.

Since Eco - RC discharges into the washing liquor sodium sulphate, waste water is not polluted as in the case of hydrosulphite, hence it is not fatal for enzymes of water treatment facilities.

  • Application

    1. For Reductive Cleaning of Polyester Dyed and Printed Fiber and Fabrics:

    A. Exhaust System, Jet-Overflow:

    • Eco - RC: 0.3 – 0.5 gr/lt
    • Flake caustic: 2 gr/lt
    • Lube CL: 1 gr/lt
    • Temperature: 95°C
    • Time: 20 min
    • Apply Eco - RC to the bath at 80°C, then increase the temperature to 95°C in 10 minutes and maintain it for 20 minutes.

    B. Continuous Washing:

    • Chamber 1 (Cold)
    • Chamber 2 (95°C)
    • Chamber 3: Eco - RC: 2 - 3 gr/lt
    • Chamber 4: Flake caustic: 4 gr/lt, Lube CL: 2 gr/lt
    • Temperature: 90°C
    • Chamber 5 (90°C)
    • Chamber 6 (70°C)
    • Chamber 7 (Cold)

    2. Washing of Disperse Printed Fabrics:

    • Cold rinse with overflow for 15 min
    • Reduction clearing:
      • NaOH flake: 2-3 g/lt
      • Eco - RC: 1-2 g/lt
      • Lube CL: 0.5-1 g/lt
    • Temperature: 80°C
    • Time: 20 min
    • In case of dark shades, the reduction clearing can be repeated.
    • Finish with hot wash and neutralization.

    3. Stripping of Disperse Dyes:

    • Depending on the structure and shade of the dye:
    • Eco - RC: 5 - 15 gr/lt
    • Flake caustic: 6 - 10 gr/lt
    • Lube CL: 1 - 3 gr/lt
    • Apply Poly Hydro to the bath at 80°C, then increase the temperature to 140°C in 30 - 60 minutes, and finally, cool to 80°C before discharging the bath.

    4. Stripping of Reactive Dyes:

    • a) Exhaust:

      • Depending on the chemical structure of the dye:
      • Eco - RC: 2 - 4 gr/lt
      • Flake caustic: 4-5 gr/lt
      • Lube CL: 1 - 2 gr/lt
      • Temperature: 95°C
      • Time: 30 min
      • Apply Eco - RC to the bath at 80°C, increase the temperature to 95°C in 10 minutes, and maintain it for 30 minutes.
      • For stripping Turquoise and blue colors, increase the amount of Eco - RC to 5 - 8 gr/lt.
    • b) Pad-Steam:

      • In the padder:
      • NaOH flake: 3-4 g/lt
      • Eco - RC: 2-3 g/lt
      • Steamer at 102°C for 1-3 min
      • Wash the fabric hot and neutralize.

    5. Cleaning of Dyeing Machine:

    • Eco - RC: 0.5-1 gr/lt
    • Flake caustic: 3 gr/lt
    • Lube CL: 2 gr/lt
    • Temperature: 95°C
    • Time: 30 min
    • Add Eco - RC to the bath at 80°C, increase the temperature to 95°C, and maintain it for 30 minutes.
