    NyloFix – EC Conc is non formaldehyde dye fixing agent for polyamide improves fastness  properties of polyamides.

    • Improves fastness (Wash, crock, water and perspiration) properties of dyes by fixation of hydrolysed reactive dyes and direct
    • Minimal effect on light fastness and chlorine fastness.
    • Minimal effect on shade change.

  • General Characteristics

    Type: Cationic

    Appearance: Colourless to pale yellow liquid

    Solubility: Easily soluble in water

    Compatibility: Compatible with nonionic and cationic products; incompatible with anionics and strong alkali

  • Application

    ‘NyloFix – EC Conc.’  should always be applied in separate stage after washing and rinsing of dyed or printed fabric.  The concentration of ‘NyloFix – EC Conc.’  to be used depends upon the depth of shade(s), the thoroughness of the washing process and the degree of fastness required.

    1. Exhaust (Batchwise) application

    NyloFix – EC Conc.       

                     Pale-medium shades     Bright shades    Heavy shades

                     0.5-1% owf                   1-2% owf          2-3% owf

    Bath pH of 5-6 will give optimum results. Application is at 40oC for 10-20 minutes

    2. Continuous Method (Pad)

          NyloFix – EC Conc.                5-30 g/l

    pH                          5-6

    It can also be added in the final compartment of open width washing range.
