  DIGI COAT – PES is  a  speciality  product  with  low  viscosity  for  improvement  of colour  value  during  ink-Jet  printing  on  all  types  of  fabric  with  disperse.

  DIGI COAT – PES is used in padding before ink-Jet printing.  DIGI COAT – PES has high  molecular  weight  which  increases  the  localised  viscosity  on  ink,  thereby avoiding  bleeding  and  spreading  of  prints.

• General Characteristics

  Physical appearance :  Colourless to pale yellow clear liquid

  pH of 1%  solution :  7  +/-1

  Miscibility :  Miscible in water

  Stability :  Stable to dilute acids & dilute alkalies

   

• Application

  Ink-Jet  direct  printing  on  polyester  (Disperse  ink) Fabric  pretreatment   with  DIGI COAT – PES

  DIGI COAT – PES :   40-70  g/l

  Citric Acid :   4 – 5 gpl [ pH – 4.5 to 5 ]

  Padding followed by drying and then ink-jet printing

  Steam at 180°C  for  8  min  or  thermofix  at  180-190°C for  1-2  min  or  calendering  at  200-210°C  for  30  sec.

  Printed fabric is given washing as follows:

  Rinse 5 min with cold water

  Soaped for 5 min. at 50-60°C 

  1 g/l Reduction clearing agent at 60-70°C for 10 min

   

• Storage & Packing

  Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Needs firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
